Fat City – Life in NoDa

Charlotte’s dynamic energy pulses through the NoDa community. This great location is home to Charlotte’s art scene, and it’s an important center for art and artists. In the center of it is Fat City.

The Fat City Deli was a landmark on North Davidson, (that’s what NoDa means) and an important spot during the  turn around of this neighborhood. North Charlotte was a mill area in the early 1900s, but in the 1980s artists found that the loft buildings were beautiful, functional, and a great location. Today, NoDa is a thriving urban community.
